Introduction

 

This training course teaches you how to implement ethical management, goal setting, organisational policies, and identification and management of responsibilities. This course provides you with the knowledge and skill building techniques that allows the successful building and management of a business ethics framework. The training program outline is up to date and pertinent to marketplace requirements, thus catering well to all analytical prediction of training needs in the specified area.   • Rely on your good judgment while evaluating your own performance

Day 2

  • Clearly understand the meaning of good ethics, doing the right thing
  • Understand the obstacles to making good decisions
  • Understand why good ethics is important
  • Understand the key aspects of good ethics
  • Understand the six pillars of character
  • Understand the seven steps to good decision making
  • Understand the framework for moral decision making
  • Understand the key factors of why people do wrong
  • Describe one action you would undertake to improve your value and ethical decision making
  • Understand the five principles of ethical power

Day 3

  • Ethical Relationships in Business & Social Responsibility
  • Relationship between business and the community (local and global)

Virtue Theory

  • basic concepts underlying virtue theory
  • look at aims and responsibilities of business, long-term benefits of ethical business
  • application: codes of ethical conduct
  • employer-employee relationship: management structures, loyalty rewards, work conditions and facilities, unfair dismissal,
  • exercise: in groups, brainstorm own code of ethics followed by brief report from each group
